A Butterfly Bride...

This cake was a new adventure for me!
Gumpaste butterflies! A fanciful cake for
a young bride's shower. She loves
butterflies! The cake was vanilla
butter cake with raspberry and raspberry
buttercream.

Sweet Pea Baby Shower

My dear friends are celebrating the
birth of their daughter Eliana Joy.
I call her sweet pea...these yummy
treats were from her shower. Each
cupcake was topped with a gumpaste
sweetpea. Mommy and daddy adorn
the top of the cake on the top of the
stand. The cupcakes were topped with
chocolate ganash buttercream, raspberry,
and cookies and cream buttercream.

Santhy's Leopard Stiletto Cake!


Happy 85th Birthday Santhy!
Santhy's daughter asked me to design
a cake for her mother who loves
stilletto and leopard print.
It was chocolate with chocolate
ganash and chocolate buttercream.
The "stilletto" is made of gumpaste.

Marching Ravens


This birthday cake was created for a very talented
young man who performs
with the Baltimore Raven's Marching Band. The cake
was created with alternating
layers of chocolate and vanilla butter cake with vanilla
and chocolate butter cream.

For Kelsey's 13th birthday she ordered a

had a great time diving into all of it's chocolaty
goodness!! It was a big hit!

Here Comes The Bride...


This was my first wedding cake! YEAH!
The bride chose a petal shaped three tiered cake
with three different piping patterns.
The cake featured three different flavored layers.
The base layer was vanilla butter cake with lemon curd and vanilla buttercream.
The middle layer was dark chocolate cake with chocolate ganash.
The top layer was carrot cake with vanilla buttercream.

Vegas Baby!


A baby shower cake for a mommy who was moving
to Las Vegas a few months before the babies arrival.
A dark chocolate cake with vanilla buttercream. The
"vegas sign" was made of fondant. The gold accents
were painted with edible gold.

The invitations for this birthday bash featured
comical flamingos. The birthday girl's mom and I
designed this great cake. It was vanilla butter cake
with lemon curd and vanilla buttercream.

This was a dark chocolate cake with peanutbutter buttercream.
It was a birthday cake that I made for a birthday to be served at the
birthday girl's wedding. Her reception cake was heart shaped with red roses.
This birthday cake was designed to compliment that cake.

For A 4th Of July Birthday Celebration!
My sweet friend Renee and her twin sister were born on the Fourth of July!
How perfect for the wife of an Army Officer!
The cakes were mirror images of one another...the one on the left was a rich vanilla butter cake with fluffy chocolate butter cream. While it's twin to the right was dark chocolate cake with vanilla bean buttercream filling. Both were garnished with fresh fruit and powdered sugar! YUMMY!

Happy Fourth of July Birthday!

Kevin is a young man graduating from Eastern Technical High School whose mascot is the mustang.

He is a sports enthusiast...each side of the cake featured some of Kevin's interrests. His school colors are orange and black.

A Caribbean Bridal Shower

Bridal Shower goes to the tropics! My sweet friends Jeanie and Tony we marring in the Caribbean. So, it only seemed appropriate to celebrate with palm trees and star fish cookies including their initials.
Each cookie favor was wrapped and tied with a bow to match.
