birthday! Look for Boz on the big screen one
day! I have no doubt he will make us proud!

One Lacy Cake!

The young woman who ordered this cake asked
for a "girly cake" with lace. I think this one
delivered! Please notice the ring and the pearls
on the top of the cake. Everything glowed with
luster dust...Raspberry filled buttercake.

Here Comes the Cake (oh, and the bride)!

A young bride contacted me asking for a simple
wedding cake with brown and pink bands...I think
this was a lovely cake. The flavors were lemon
and raspberry.

Oh Baby!! Shower Cake

This was a cake created for a mommy to be.
The pacifier was made of gumpaste and finished
in gold luster dust. The cake was vanilla cake with
pink raspberry buttercream...perfect for a little baby
girl!

boy Sean P's 3rd birthday. The party was
at a bowling alley. The cake was iced in
in buttercream. The bowling pins were made of
fondant. The cake was vanilla with vanilla buttercream.

Engagement Cake

This cake was created for a bridal shower.
The bride's favorite color is lavender and the
person who ordered the cake asked for a diamond
ring to be included on the cake. The cake was a
white butter cake with raspberry filling and
raspberry buttercream.

A double bass graduation

DOUBLE...your bass...
DOUBLE your fun!

This week I was asked to sculpt a double bass cake
for a graduate from music school. As an instrumental
major she loves her instrument...I hope she loved her
cake a little too!!

The process begins, and the cake begins to
take shape...

I got to experiment with hand painting for this
project....

The happy painter...

Strings made of floral wire....supports of
rice cereal treats covered in fondant-the body
of the cake was vanilla butter cake and
chocolate buttercream filling.

Here she is...in all of her glory.
I hope you think she is pretty...

Here comes the bride..dun...dun..da.dun

Today I delivered a wedding cake and a
grooms cake for a lovely bride and groom.
The bride loved the bows on this cake design.
The three tiers were vanilla cake with
raspberry buttercream and raspberry filling
along with lemon cake with lemon curd and
vanilla buttercream. The groom requested
"chocolate". I hope he loved his very chocolate
cake with chocolate buttercream and chocolate
ganash.

The bride has always loved her mother's china
pattern. I incorporated a floral pattern from the
china into the piping on this cake.

The happy caker with her creations!
I pray the bride and groom were truely
blessed! Congratulations!
