A Girly Birthday...

A very nice family contacted me recently
requesting a cake for one of their favorite
relatives. The cake request was for a 50th
birthday, and the family described the birthday
girl as very "girly" and that she liked "bling".
I found inspiration for this cake from several
sources. I knew I wanted to include some jewlery
accents and a hat box/jewlery box theme.

I was excited by the result!

Santa Cake!

This was a really fun cake! It was created
for a celebration after the completion
of my church's Christmas Contata...I believe
the design of the cake may be similar to a
cake made by PinkCakeBox (one of my favorite
designers) but the design was requested by the clients.

Cake flavors: Vanilla butter cake with
vanilla buttercream, pumpkin spice with
cinnamon buttercream, and red velvet
with vanilla buttercream.
